Just finished my bachelor’s, got a job at about $50k year salary, still have $26k in student loans. Never had a late/missed payments. Renting out a place at $500/month that’s closer to my job. I’ve been at my new job less than six months and the people on my team make me feel dead inside. It pays, but at what cost? My old job I’ve worked there for over five years, it doesn’t feel like a job to be honest. My name is all over google reviews with positive feedback. It’s a pack and ship center with consistent business. It’s also in my hometown too. I mentioned it lightly to my old boss about it. He says I’d be great at it, but it’ll be challenging because I’m young and I have to go thru a lot of hoops. He also mentions an up front cost of about $300k.. something I certainly don’t have.. Yet, is there anyway around it? Loans? Would it be worth it? I’m in a conflict between wanting to do something I enjoy, but sacrificing financial stability/freedom. Or work at a place that has been making feel like shit, but it pays. Just writing this out in case anyone has been in a similar position. Central jersey btw. – by hq overview Haarlemmermeer – –
