Gamification has been used for years to make fun and entertaining video games, but it’s now becoming a popular tool for businesses to use. Businesses are utilizing gamification strategies to engage with their target audiences. There are a variety of ways marketers can use gamification to market their businesses and produce excellent results in the process. The strategies used are – Website games, Completion meters, Loyalty programs, and Virtual games. For Example:- Starbucks (Rewards App): As you earn Stars, you can redeem them for Rewards—like free food, drinks, and more. The star-based solution has seen significant success: According to QSR Magazine, the app-based membership program accounted for 52% of all US store sales in 2021. Nike (NikeFuel App): Nike’s fitness app, NikeFuel, is driven by its users’ tendencies to share their fitness achievements for validation on social media. Users compete with each other and share their results on a daily basis. Not only does this help promote social recognition of the brand but also helps Nike integrate their brand into the everyday lives of users. Duolingo: Duolingo realized that learning a whole new language can be a challenging task, so they associated language classes with game-like tasks to help users truly retain information. Gamifying the entire learning experience with points, badges, learning streaks, social functions, rewards, and more, helps build momentum and motivation for users in their studies. – by /hq/steadfastlibran – –
