    I need little guidance on lead generation. We are a small web design company looking for ways to improve our leads. I’m by no means a salesperson but I’m wearing the hat and slowly getting better. We tried a lead company out and at first we had relative success (10% close rate) but then the quality rapidly began to drop and they didn’t fulfill our last contract at all. Went back to our old methods of cold calling with little to no success these last two months. We managed to close only 4 projects… It’s been tough trying to reach a decision maker or owner of a company. Once I get the right person though, it’s easy to talk and introduce our services plus close. We have a high close rate once I get to discovery. Does anyone have any recommendations for lead companies or how to improve cold calling? Maybe the quality of our cold call leads has been bad? I use google once a week to build out a list of businesses to call. Is that a bad source of leads? Any advise or help would be appreciated!!
