Hi all! Please be kind. I’m new here. As a first time mom looking for daycare, I’ve found a ton of people either have awful websites or no websites at all. I am familiar with Wix and Weebly and have helped make a few websites in my time for professional conferences and a company owned by family friends. If I were to offer to spruce up their website, how do I go about this? In the past I was given full access to their website account and passwords or I started a website for them and then gave them the login — is this the same idea? I can imagine it’d be hard for them to want to hand that over to a stranger… Or maybe I make a new website for them and then hand them THAT? What’s the going rate for that? Is there one? How does one collect payment for something like this? Halfway thru and at the end or only at the end? More than anything I’m concerned about how to help without making them feel like they just gave a total random person their private info… submitted by /u/Acupofmanatea [link] [comments]
