ASKING MARKETING: What has worked for you?

I see post after post asking for feedback on copy, branding, advertising, etc. with some great feedback and advise. Sometimes nice, sometimes harsh. Occasionally OPs will chime in and sometimes not. I’m curious if anything has ever come of this advise. Has anyone taken the advise they’ve received here and implemented it? What were the results? What was a specific piece of advise you got that made a difference? Did you read a book that was recommended and it made a huge impact?
