I’ve been wondering about pagespeed and what I can do to keep up with the best practices. I work at an agency and we build all of our themes from scratch – so no prebuilt templates/site builders or anything. Just ACF and Gutenberg on very stripped back themes We use the Autoptimize and WP Fastest Cache plugins for minifying and caching, we also use webpack to push up built/minified code in the first place. I’m looking for more tricks/tips perhaps with the htaccess or the hosting environment, maybe even plugins if they work well? Our servers have a maximum of PHP 7.1 which I’m going to upgrade tomorrow so that we can have 7.3 for our newer sites but going forward I want to be more conscious about load times and metrics scores, a lot of our WooCommerce sites seem to suffer it the hardest. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! We use Plesk/CentOS hosting if that helps at all 🙂 – by hq overview tylersands1 – –
