Building a website similar functionality to Socialblade

I am not very familiar with building websites, but would like to learn and work on my own projects in spare time. I have an idea for a custom website with functionality similar to Socialblade. It will have many pages for various User Profiles and each user page will have various unique data associated with his performance etc. I would then like to also have a number of pages that will rank users based on various parameters, into top 1000 lists etc. I spent few hours reading about building such a website and so far I understand that I need to run an Apache server, which must be connected to MySQL database. I will then need to write PHP code which will generate the HTML pages and populate them with data from MySQL database. I really do not know where to start for this project and would appreciate any relevant advice to help me make progress. – by hq overview journey1819 – –
