Can I use FastAPI as a replacement for Django?

Hi, I have a Django and React application but now I am planning to move the application to FastAPI. The reason being Django is very heavy on the other side FastAPI gives freedom to the project. I know both FastAPI and Django. But can FastAPI really serve as a replacement to Django? – by /hq/WhoIsThisIDunno – –
