Background: UG Programme – Bachelor of Computer Apps, 2 years experience in Digital Marketing (I know it’s broad, I’ll deconstruct. Hold on. Did 1 year in a startup which was an agency handling clients from different fields. Went on to get a chance in one of the best Sports Agency in the country which has clients from all over the world. I was given the role as DM Executive and did SEO, Social Media posts, content curation, Blogs, Facebook, Google Ads – Search/Display, SEM, SMM, internal communication, mailers, digital campaign plannings, know bits around graphic designing, blogging, making reports on monthly basis and client communications. Sort of like jack of all trades. But now I know that it has got drawbacks as well. Like I don’t know any these really deep at least I don’t consider myself. But I can work myself around these with not so much effort. Only place where I might lack would be communication as I could call myself introvert and I’m starting to push down that wall because of this new opportunity I had with my existing company and other thing I’m lil’ overwhelmed is budget allocation for campaigns/ads and the massive overflow of politics, egos and shit which happens between each other in a corporate structure as I’m working with multiple teams. But I’ve been getting half the salary of someone who did MBA and some Digital Marketing course and I’ve been helping/teaching whatever you call it. And I never really complained about salary as I want to grasp everything I possibly can and learn from it and just turned 23. So right now I’m thinking of doing some masters abroad as I believe it’s ideal time with 2 years experience on the back and I really don’t know if I want to continue this path, what sort of Masters would help me to get better at what I’m doing right now or should I continue the same path and work or move to different company or whatever. I know this might be long drag story. But I want to know about the options I have moving forward or any sort of advice from you guys. – /u/woodeenho [HQ] [Overview]
