    The client literally told me that it’s more important that people know about their company doing the webinar with these big names. Conversions are not the priority. We’re sending out an email to collect signups. I’m writing the email copy. Wtf? Is this a common thing? I’m not sure why the client would hire me in the first place if this is all they wanted. I think this is one of those cases where anything I write is just to please the client, who is the head of marketing at the company he works for. (I’m not sure if this was his idea or not.) With that said, I’m thinking of using ActiveCampaign’s webinar invite emails as a model. They seem to be written by a good direct response copywriter. I see too many webinar invite emails written by idiots who hardly mention “you you you”…
