Hello hq overview, As some of you may know, cannabis is a booming industry that started in Colorado. There has been $6.5 billion in sales since the recreational industry became legal in 2014. The idea of cannabis in Colorado was always to be modeled after the alcohol industry. Currently the production and distribution of cannabis is a pretty tapped market, there are plenty weed equivalents of a vodka factory and a liquor store. So much so that there are now more dispensaries than Starbucks in the state. With that being said, there are no real weed bars or equivalents that exist. I want to start a Marijuana Hospitality business here in Colorado that will be the first of its kind. Colorado passed the Marijuana Hospitality Act in May of this year and the law goes into effect January 1, 2020 (8 days after I complete my MBA in Strategic Management)! My business partner and I created a business idea 2 years ago and we’ve been waiting for legislation to be on our side. This business idea is NOT a marijuana “tasting lounge”, coffee shop, tour bus, or Airbnb (soon these will be everywhere). In fact we won’t be selling marijuana at all, but we will allow the consumption of it in our establishment. We are currently looking for $496k seed investment and partners! Please PM me if you would like to know more details and an opportunity to be a leader in a brand new niche of the marijuana industry: hospitality! Thank you for your time and consideration.
