    Hi there. I just started a marketing position with a new company (b2b) and I am wanting to conduct a comprehensive marketing audit. Marketing has been and continues to be a a priority in the company, but they have not had a dedicated marketing professional until now. I would like to make this project one of my top priorities, but I have never done this before, at least in this formal of a manner. Questions and ideas I am tossing around Would like to generate a detailed “state of the union” report that analyzes current marketing efforts and outlines what is working and not working. However, I am struggling to find a report like this. Have you seen something like this? Do you know of any examples available online? Thoughts on internal audit vs external audit? Should I attempt to take this project on myself or should I contract this out? If I’m contracting this out, are there any firms I should be looking at?
