I have a small business I am starting up and I am drafting the service agreement for my prospective clients. I am not familiar with the legalese that is required to cover my end. I will have business insurance, but how do I state that in my contract with all the jargon? I see clauses like “Each party agrees to indemnify and hold the opposite party harmless against any and all liability.” From my understanding is that as a contractor and business operator that statement means either party won’t go at each other to deal with damages or liability. How can I go about stating in my contract that “I have insurance and I will cover any damages through my fault, but will fault the client for damages on their end – hazardous environment in their home” – by /hq/shredofdoubt – –
