CPC vs CPM question.

So I’m new to adsense and after running some ads a few days I have a question. My CPC ads shown are 1881 but my CPM ads show are only 162. Why is the CPM this low and can I change it? Or is it just because the companies who advertise on my website are mostly interested in CPC? – by hq overview JulRobb – –
