Creatives: How do you create ideas that people actually care for?

Hey there, first time posting on here. I’m an aspiring copywriter in portfolio school learning the ropes. This is hard stuff you guys work with. There’s no formula to big ideas and that’s what i’m struggling with. My question; when you guys arrive at a big idea, how do you create an activation that actually works?
