So I created this CSS file and loaded it through functions.php to make some visual changes on admin dashboard. The problem is, WP loads the new file, but appearance of dashboard just stays the same? I’m checking cached files via network section by Google Chrome DevTools and can confirm that WP gets and loads the CSS file. I’ve been looking for a solution for 2 days and every post that I encountered suggests doing the things the way that I was already doing. So I’m wondering what might be the problem in here? CSS File: /* Plugin Name: My Admin Theme Plugin URI: Description: My WordPress Admin Theme – Upload and Activate. Author: Ms. WordPress Version: 1.0 Author URI: */ #wphead { color: red; background: orange; } adminmenu ul{ color: red; background: orange; } zeitgeist{ color: red; background: orange; } footer{ color: red; background: orange; } The code that I use to load CSS file: add_action( ‘admin_enqueue_scripts’, ‘load_admin_style’ ); function load_admin_style() { wp_register_style( ‘admin_css’, get_template_directory_uri() . ‘/css/my-admin-theme-contributor.css’, false, ‘1.0.0’ ); //OR wp_enqueue_style( ‘admin_css’, get_template_directory_uri() . ‘/css/my-admin-theme-contributor.css’, false, ‘1.0.0’ ); } Codex ( ) refers to that this code should be working just fine but I guess I’m missing something here? – by hq overview Imightberobot – –
