Deleting my Facebook account

For a while now i have been contemplating to remove my facebook account, The only reason I want to keep it is because of the birthday calendar (which can be useful) and because it is easy to keep track of events to which i am invited. Is there a way to ”export” these functions without actually having an facebook account anymore?
