I was recently asked to scale up the backend in the next 2.5 weeks to accommodate ~500,000 additional users. I don’t have much experience doing this. We are running NodeJs with loopback (instead of express) and using MongoDB. I’ve already found a few endpoints that we can offload to the front-end but don’t know what else to do. I’m running Locust for performance testing and all the failures just say: ConnectionError(ProtocolError(‘Connection aborted.’, RmoteDisconnected (‘Remote end closed connection without response’))). I’ve done research into how to do performance testing/improvements but if I could get some first-hand advice it would be greatly appreciated. – by hq overview Crippled_shadow – –
