Do I have to use Javascript?

I am learning web development, I know the basics of Javascript, basics of Python, HTML, and CSS. I was wondering if I can make websites with Python or C# instead of using Javascript? I know that python has Django and flask but can they be used as javascript replacements? I have nothing against javascript it’s just that I feel more experienced in python.
