Hi, Marketer here. I’d like to get more into data tools in order to have a better background in an upcoming world where information is a basic asset In my case I got a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2015. I did courses of Algebra, Probability, Statistics and ,especially, Econometrics. Honestly, that was five years ago and I barely remember these subjects and the knowledge I got from them. The thing is that I’ve been reading lately that learning data analysis programming languages like R and Python or database handling languages like SQL is something that can be very useful. However, my question is, is it necessary to have a degree in Computer Science or similar degree to learn to program in those languages and take advantage of them? In this subhq overview I see marketers who use them, what academic background do you have? On the other hand, do you know of any course in coursera or similar on statistics to refresh concepts? I see that the use of these tools if it is not accompanied by prior scientific knowledge, you do not get the most out of it. Regards
