I’ve worked for 3 startups in my life and I’m 21 years old. Although I am not working for 2 of the companies anymore, I still received an unbelievable amount of knowledge just by being around my boss. Both of my previous bosses are both still my friends and so grateful because they have changed my life dramatically to the point where it landed me this position where I am directly working under-possibly-the most inspiring and goal driven person I’ve met in my life, who happens to be a Thiel Fellow. When looking to join a startup, focus more on finding someone you can learn from and develop a friendship with. Find a mentor. submitted by /u/shadowfuse8 [link] [comments]
