The more I use it, the more powerful I think the FAQpage schema is. It is new, so I think there is enormous untapped potential. I’ve discovered that most of the “FAQ snippets” that are appearing on SERPs come from pages that don’t even use structured data, Google just picks a question and answer out of the text. When I saw Google had done this on my own site, I added the FAQpage structured data, and was able to edit the text to be better. Then I saw that Google added an image from my page that I didn’t want there, so I added an image to my structured data, and after a day of waiting, the image appeared. I’d like to hear what other SEOs are learning specifically how FAQpage structured data interacts with snippets on SERPs. I think this is evolving quickly, and know there is a ton more to learn about what can be done. Have you gotten a snippet without structured data? Do you use images? Does Google pass links through in the snippet text? Does it add text that is not in your structured data? (I just saw this happen to me today.) Or remove text that you have in your structured data? – by hq overview roofvents – –
