So from my understanding having a LLC separates you from the business, so if there was a lawsuit or debit against the LLC it would not impact your personal accounts and property. However, I’ve seen some information online that mentions if you are active/working in the business or you’re the only person involved it’s somewhere pointless to have a LLC because it can easily be proven that you are at fault and not the business (I hope I’m wording all this correctly). I guess in short; if I’m going to be doing online sales out of my house, mailing ammo/accessories to people, mailing/delivering guns to other FFLs for pickup, and I’m going to be the only one doing this is it even worth it for my to go thru the trouble of getting a LLC? submitted by /u/tehcheez [link] [comments]
