Hiding “Category” Text from displaying on categories?

Howdy folks, I’m looking to hide the category text when a visitor clicks on a category. For example I’d like to change Category : Dogs to just display Dogs. Is there a simple method to do this (I’ve found other methods but they aren’t what I’m after) Additionally would this affect Seo by having the Category Text hidden?
