Hi Everyone, I am the founder of Platers. Platers is a new local & homemade food marketplace start-up from Canada (Delivery Service included) – three sided marketplace. Our goal is to help foodies easily connect with amazing home-based food businesses & local farmers market food vendors. Also to reduce food waste while re-inventing the dining experience for the better. Passionate cooks provide authentic, homemade food in their own kitchen. With zero start-up costs, Platers gives talented cooks the chance to show off their cooking skills and special dishes straight from their own kitchen. At Platers safety is the number one priority, we have our vetting system to ensure all cooks follow local rules. As many of you know cottage food laws changed in Alberta (2020) and Ontario (2021), which allow anyone to be able to sell low risk homemade food from home without a license. We launched beta in Edmonton (Canada) and are getting some traction with sellers but not buyers (we haven’t done much marketing), does anyone have any growth hacks on threesided marketplace (delivery)? TIA Cheers – by /hq/Platers_HomemadeFood – –
