I want to do something like the youtube miniplayer. It’s a small pop-up panel that is always visible, and if you navigate to another page, it keeps playing the video without interruption, while in the background, a completely new page is loaded. One solution that I can think of is putting the entire website into a full-screen iframe, and putting the popup above it, but the problem with this is that navigating inside an iframe doesn’t update the address bar in the browser, and doesn’t affect the history. I’ve also checked youtube with inspect element and they don’t seem to be using an iframe. What would be the best approach to doing something like that? – by /hq/Sparky2199 – –
