How do I change my primary domain to my newly purchased .co.uk domain?

Hi guys, I’ve recently purchased a .co.uk domain through GoDaddy, during that time I also set up my site on WordPress. I’ve not touched the WordPress site at all yet, it’s still a free page with zero work done it, whatsoever! I have linked the sites on GoDaddy, so that when I type in my .co.uk domain it takes me to the wordpress site, however the domain name reverts to .wordpress.com when I land on the site. I went to change the domain address through the control panel on WordPress but it says I cannot do that, but I can map it which requires a business plan. I’m going to upgrade to a WordPress.com Business subscription later this week, however will this mean that my domain will be http://www.sitename.co.uk rather than http://www.sitename.wordpress.com now? – by hq overview Kapranos – –
