How do I get into freelance marketing?

I’m a UK based digital marketer with 2 years experience and I want to start doing freelance work but I don’t know how to get started. The experience I have is from an apprenticeship where I worked as part of a large marketing team so I don’t have very much evidence of managing social media accounts or running campaigns as I was more of an assistant to the team. Someone suggested I collaborate with an established freelancer to get started and build a portfolio but I don’t know anyone. Is there any platform or website where I could find someone to work with or do any of you know anyone? Any other tips on how to get into freelance marketing much appreciated! – by /hq/Beloay – –
