This is a question that goes out to all other young entrepreneurs and older ones who have been in this situation. I am an 18 year old with decent entrepreneurial skills. I am confident in my ability to make it work. Only problem here is FOMO. Everyone my age is out there having fun and being an 18 year old without a care in the world. I don’t go to Uni, and I feel like I an stuck in this limbo of sorts. I will constantly ask myself questions like “What if I fail and have nothing to show for these years of hard work and self imposed discipline/isolation.” “Wouldn’t life be easier if I just followed the path already tread?” This is not to say I don’t have any friends or social skills. I have a couple of really close friends that are on the same page as me, but I feel as if I’m a circle in a world of squares as egotistical and cliché as that sounds. My view points of the world don’t seem resonate with many people my age and I find myself having friends that are 3-5 years older than me. I can talk to older people easier than I can talk to most people my age. How do you guys cope with being the black sheep? Is anyone else in the same boat? It’s legit a part of our biology to want to conform with the crowd, but I just can’t seem to do it. I feel like a poser everytime I do and eventually I just give up because I become too emotionally drained. – by hq overview Geetsly – –
