Hi. I am creating an application that works with realtime data, in the back end I am using Node.js. It receives updates every 2-3 seconds. For each update I need to get all documents from the database (I am using Mongo), perform a modification in some of them (even though it could be on each one of them depending on certain facts) and then update them. The problem I am facing right now is that the operation is not fast enough. So, if I get an update, by the time I’ve finished getting all the documents, modifying each one of the affected documents, and then saving them, new updates have passed by. How do similar applications handle this kind of issues? – by hq overview iwanttobemayor – –
