So, recently I’ve come to the realization that I enjoy designing things, even more so I like applying my designs to clothing. Thing is I’m not sure how to go about designing clothes and selling them in a fashion that maximizes profits. Initially, I wanted to sell on tee spring. But of course opening my own online shop there means they get a percentage of profits and I have to jack up the price to increase profits on my end after they take their cut. I’d like to open my own online website and sell from there, but I’m not exactly sure how to get my clothes printed, and have them sent to customers. That’s initially part of the reason I chose teespring. I make my designs, customer can buy them from a trusted website to print/ship them. Thoughts? Ideas? Feed back? This is something I’d like to pursue, I’m just having trouble working out all the kinks. I’m inclined to believe teespring is the best option for someone new to the industry, because they allow me to get really creative. My designs don’t stop at shirts and apparel, I can also have mugs made, stickers, beanies, caps etc. So I suppose what I’m asking is, is it smarter for me to use something like teespring? Or should I try to go out on my own, using a trusted website as a platform. Etc. – by /hq/superduperbucket – –
