I want to host a few WordPress websites at home where I have a static IP but the ISP blocks port 80. So far I tested them with dedicated ports (e.g. 8080) but now I want to implement SSL and custom domain names so the visitor only sees the domain name. What is the best way to do this? I tried port 80 forwarding on no-ip.com and works fine. Should I just use the same (on any registrar) and point the domain to a custom https port per site (say, myip:444) + Let’s Encrypt? Is Cloudflare’s free tier a better solution since it automatically redirects all hhtp requests to https? – by /hq/bankyan – –
