Hi r/webdev! {insert standard mobile formatting warning} I’ve got a week-long vacation lined up, no 9-to-5, no wife or kid with me. Only hiking through the mountains during the day and studying “da web” in the evenings. I’ve got a pretty good grasp on ye olde HTML, CSS and JS (I’m no stranger to static websites), some experience with Bootstrap and jQuery (though I prefer slinging my own code). I’m looking to improve as much as possible during this excursion to start supplementing my 9-to-5 income with freelancing. I’m looking for recommendations for specific technologies/materials/sources/projects you think would give me the best shot at getting as freelance-ready as possible in this restricted timeframe. Due to my possibly restricted access to a high-speed connection (~10GB on 3G at best) I’d prefer non-video sources. I’m looking forward to seeing what the beautiful minds of this awesome community come up with! – by /hq/nalread – –
