I’m starting an exterior cleaning service where I’m gonna offer pressure washing for driveways and homes, gutter cleaning, and window washing. At least from a quick google search this service doesn’t look very competitive in my area so I’m hoping I can hit the ground running. I’m thinking about going door to door on my block asking people if they’d like their driveways done free of charge, asking only permission to use the work for before and after pictures. After the service is completed I’ll ask them if they are happy with the job and direct them to my google my business or Facebook page if they’d lik to review. Then I’ll give them 6 business cards, 1 for them and 5 for friends. For the 5, I’ll give a 20% on future services for each of their referrals that lead to a paying customer. Then offer an example of what their house would cost to be completed, ex: “Based on your square footage I can do your house for $150 normally, you refer 2 friends I’ll do it for $90.” I’ll do this for 5-6 people and then turn to mostly to Facebook and google ads, advertising on my towns Facebook page, and car signs. Does this sound reasonable? – by hq overview theoddman92 – –
