Moving and going remote

Hey all! I’m moving from my current city to a new state a couple of hours away. The minimum wage in my state varies from the state I’m living in now, so when I move and go remote from my current position will they have to increase my wages? It’s about a $5 increase from what I’d be making now, will the company I work for have to abide by the minimum wage of the state I’ll be living in or do I not have to worry about bringing that up to my co-founders?
