So I’ve recently acquired a new client, which is great. However, the scope of the work is not at all what was originally agreed upon. I run a small consulting agency, and originally I was supposed to be there for administrative assistance and marketing consulting. It turns out it’s a bunch of sales calls, not my jam nor the scope of my business. I haven’t signed a contract with them (unusually like to give myself 30 days to feel out the client/situation before committing). However, I do not want to continue with this client if the work continues to go this route. Anyone got any insight on what my next steps should be? I’d like to keep the client, but not if it’s in this capacity. I’ve never had to break up with a client before, and I would prefer not to. Thanks in advance! – by hq overview runningwitheclairs – –
