I work for a non profit organisation (we raise money for a hospital) and we are trying to get more emails in our monthly newsletter. We have about 15 000 so far. We also have pretty good stats with an opening rate of almost 40% and a click rate of around 5%. So we dont want to just add a bunch of emails from people not actualy interested that would hurt our statistics. We would rather have a few quality emails rather than a lot of random ones from people who don’t care. I am trying to put in place a page on our website with downloadable content that is sent to people in exchange for their email. The technical part of it is fairly easy, but i’m having a lot of trouble coming up with ideas for the actual content that people would receive. We are a non profit so most informations about us (financialy) are available publicly. I was thinking about maybe some kind of e-book about the history of the foundation and how it evolved trough the years.. but most of this informations is also already available on our website. And i don’t like the idea of removing informations already on the website and put it behind a “paywall” (for lack of better term). Do you guys have any suggestions about what kind of content i could use? Most of the websites i see using this method to get emails mostly offer tutorials or guides wich is not something that we can really do. Thank you in advance. – by /hq/lazergun-pewpewpew – –
