Planning to make a move into web development after 3 years of c++ computer graphics/desktop development..any tips?
-
Like I said, I’m a Software developer good at c++ and c#(think wpf), developing mostly desktop apps related Computer Graphics, CAD, etc. I do have experience working on a small poc web application using .NET web api, SQL and AWS dynamodb, but it was merely a scratch on the surface. The reason I’m looking to change is the sheer volume of interesting jobs in web development where I live. And, computer graphics/CAD jobs are so niche and non existent, and the other C++ jobs are maintaining old legacy applications(which I’m doing now), which are so stressful as well boring at the same time. My question is two fold: -Is it possible at all, without starting off as a complete fresher? -If so, where and how do I begin? It seems there’s way too many frameworks and things I have no clue which one to start with… Can you share your honest comments on this please, thanks! – by hq overview shplss – –
