Hi, apologies if this is not the appropriate place to post this. I am in the final round of interviews for a startup and am meeting with an executive in a few days for what I think is the final step. I am very eager to prove myself, and I think their biggest concern is that I have no experience in a startup environment. My professional history consists of working for two well established companies – one a nonprofit, the other a corporation. Can anyone provide any tips/reading recommendations to help me best present/prepare myself for the unique environment? I know I am a fast learner and able to make decisions on the fly, and go with the flow, but I am having trouble connecting it to my past experiences where everything can move so slowly. My field is HR and their biggest concern is turnover so I was thinking of making a business plan of sorts about recruiting strategies and initiatives – would that be too over the top? Thanks in advance for feedback/tips. – by hq overview jahbasic – –
