Hey there! I thought I had a really good idea but I think it might not be possible as I imagined it. I created a start page for my browser and hosted it at https://startpage.zerotask.net . The page contains a PWA that caches my only file, index.html. I thought that once the service-worker is installed, the site would be available in the cache, even if I have no internet. This is, however, not always the case. I set the URL to be my new tab window using this Firefox Add-On. If I opened a new tab once with a network connection, I can cut the connection off and everything works fine. But when I freshly start my browser without a network connection and open a new tab, the page doesn’t load. My understanding of PWA’s and service-workers let me in believe that I would still be able to get the page displayed. Am I misunderstanding something about service workers? If so, please let me know! Thanks in advance, ~pos – by hq overview positivedown – –
