Hello hq overview people, I have a job in marketing (marketing specialist) and I was wondering how I should look at it, about the salary. When I look at salary guides in marketing, I find that my job title has generally a lower salary, next to other marketing jobs. The thing is, what I do is a bit larger (IMO) than just marketing specialist. For example, I’m in charge of the newsletters, social medias, website (create pages, content, update, backups, etc), but also a lot of editing (photos and videos) along with taking the photos/videos. When I look at salaries for other marketing jobs (let’s say social media specialist), I see a higher pay for that job than marketing specialist. But I also do that. If I look at web marketing, I see a higher pay for that job. But I also do that. So with all that, I don’t know what to think. I have a temp job that might end up in a permanent job and I like the company. But if I look at all the different aspects of my job and a salary guide, I end up thinking I’m underpaid because I technically do different jobs under one title. Is it normal? Is it always like that with a role like marketing specialist? Thanks for your help! – by /hq/AndyDali – –
