Hey everyone. Was hoping you could offer some feedback and possible warning bells that I might be overlooking. Basically, we have this guide article that is one of the most popular posts on the site. It’s in the top-3 position for some medium-volume keywords in our industry and has produced a lot of traffic and conversions for us, but lately, it has started to decline a bit. What I would like to do is to re-create and improve upon this article and try to target the high-volume keywords in my industry as well as the medium-volume ones. The plan so far: Re-write the article, making it more extensive, better written and more presentable. Change the slug to something shorter and neater. (current slug is a bit long) 301 redirect the old URL to the new article once it’s published. It’s not gonna break us if this fails, but it will potentially cut off one revenue stream so I’d like to consider every outcome. Are there any complications or issues I’m not considering? Thanks for your time. – by hq overview Runarthor – –
