Hello! I’ve been running a non-profit’s website for about 15 years now as a volunteer, and six years ago I moved from hand-coded HTML/CSS onto Joomla. This site is a few hundred pages of “who we are/what we do” and reference materials, plus event registration forms and such. It’s all on a single VPS with a LAMP stack. I moved email and document stores off to Office365 a couple years ago, and transactional emails go through Mailgun. Payments all happen through PayPal, I’m not collecting any CC info. It’s showing its age, especially where mobile is concerned. So: if you were starting over with no budget, some expertise in PHP/HTML/CSS/SQL and general Linux admin, and wanted something you could turn over to volunteers to keep updated with new events and such, which direction would you go these days? Thanks! – by hq overview biff_tyfsok – –
