Open SEO Stats used to be one of my favorite Chrome extensions ([https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/open-seo-statsformerly-pa/hbdkkfheckcdppiaiabobmennhijkknn](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/open-seo-statsformerly-pa/hbdkkfheckcdppiaiabobmennhijkknn)), but now they have removed their free option and replaced it with a monthly fee.

Does anyone use a good alternative? What are some other essential Chrome SEO plugins?

    Thanks!

The Majestic toolbar is pretty solid- provides trust flow metrics at a glance as well as a list of top rated backlinks

You could try my SEO crawler Chrome extension that checks multiple pages at a time for SEO, speed and security issues: https://www.checkbot.io/

MozBar, SEO Meta, SimilarWeb, Wappalzyer, Hunter.io. All free (or are free versions), all useful.

The Ahrefs toolbar is pretty good – it gives you a breakdown of a website’s referring domains, keywords, estimate of their authority with DR etc.

I feel like this was just asked but I’ll throw up a few not related to the one you listed but that I use.

SERPTrends – keeps track of serp movement and numbers results which is nice

SEO Meta Inspector – Quickly see all meta data on a page

Wappalyzer – I work for an agency so I have a lot of clients across many platforms. Good to know what CMS they’re using

Page Analytics – If you’re not using this get it now

LinkMiner – find broken links on pages

Redirect path – See the path links take.

I’m using 14 but these should help anyone out.
