Hi all, I am currently working on a little project to help a family members business out. It is a remodeling business. I’m working on the SEO side of it. The guy I’m working for lives in a small town that according to Uber suggest, isn’t worth doing SEO for because there are no monthly searches for anything remodeling in that town. My idea was for him to rank for the next town over which is a lot better because Uber suggest has better data for that town. My question is, even though his address is in the small town, will it affect SEO if I try to rank for another town… I guess what I’m getting into is the NAP. ( in short)If google thinks he lives in the small town, but he is trying to rank for the bigger town, will google not like that? Or should I just somehow not include his address in any of the nap directories as he does come out to people. Thanks to anyone who answers and sorry that this may be confusing.
