Should I sell my shares in the stock market to invest in my own company?

Hi everyone – a company I was recently full time at went public and I’m lucky enough to have some shares. I also have a business on the side that is going well but needs capital to continue growing. I’ve heard of business owners putting their savings into their companies but never heard of people selling shares to do so. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it something you’d advise against? For context I’m 25 and have little to no experience with this stuff and also no mentors to talk to so really just looking for folks with life experience to guide me 😀 – by /hq/Zoroaster23 – –
