I have heard about big savings for people who use for packages, but does anybody use it for just first class mail? I own a small business and we mail out newsletters first class each month. It can be as many as 600. We print the mailing labels, put them on an envelope, add a stamp and away they go. They say I don’t have to wait in line at the post office, but I’m not doing that now. We buy our stamps from and they deliver them for $2. I see that would save me $0.05/letter. That’s $30/mailing, which could be nice. But I need to buy the labels and it looks like in bulk, they cost me $0.04/stamp. It now sounds like my savings is $0.01/letter which is only $6/mailing. In addition, it is extra work for my staff to print the stamps and of course it is now using my toner. This could actually cost me more. I’m wondering if my math is correct here, or if there is a better way. – by hq overview spyan_ – –
