Thanks for reading, I need some advice on how to get funding. I want to start a supply boat business to remote islands. Essentially ferrying building supplies, food, drinks what ever is ordered. I have lived here for a few years and have a local friend that does the same, he is always complaining that there are not enough boats to fill orders. A decent size boat (20 ton capacity in good weather) would cost between $12000 – $17000 Each trip there to pick up the supplies and back costs the customer $210, $70 of this goes towards our fuel cost, pier fees and a bit to maintenance. Leaving $140 a day, potentially half of this would go to the captain of the boat as salary per day, leaving a total profit of $70 a day for me. Boats run 3-6 days a week giving me a $10,920 – 21,840 profit a year As I am foreigner many banks will not accept an application from me for a loan, and I am struggling to find platforms that would fund something like this. Any insight would be appreciated. – by hq overview TwigletHammer32 – –
