Do you think it’s a smart move? Any successful experiences or stories to share? A bit of context: I currently work as a marketing manager for an Ecommerce company processing millions of transactions monthly. In my daily job, I take care of campaign strategy and execution, which allows me to work across all the channel departments, from PPC to newsletter and influencer marketing. I also manage a team focused on content, media planning, merchandising and analytics. This may seem quite ideal, but I’ve been experiencing signs of fatigue these past few months. After over 3 years in the company, I feel like everything I do is basically “more of the same”, and I don’t feel like my values align with those of the company anymore. On the other hand, B2B marketing is something that makes me excited again to work in Marketing, and I’ve been wondering if the transition could be done easily. I am quite knowledgeable in B2B marketing/lead gen/etc…, but I have 0 hands-on experience, which will probably be an issue to get interviews or stay on the same level of seniority (I’m 28, it’s not the end of the world but still). Any thoughts? – by hq overview Pretty_Lightz – –
