Hi guys, I’m just doing an SEO audit for a potential new client, and have discovered that the links in their sites navigation menu have nofollow tags on them – these are links to core pages that the client wants to rank for. To me it seems obvious that these links should be able to be followed, but the previous SEO agency that they used are pretty reputable so I’m surprised that this was never picked up and amended if that is the case. As far as research goes, the only thing I can find on why you might add nofollow tags here is an outdated internal linking practice. So my question is – is there a reason that you might add nofollow tags to these links, or am I right in suggesting that these links should have the nofollow tags removed? Thanks for your help! – by /hq/nikric77 – –
